"The Panasonic TC-PV10 series delivers the best picture quality of any flat-panel TV we've tested so far this year. Its deep black levels are it biggest strength, and its color reproduction was accurate enough, especially given the extra controls, to satisfy all but the strictest videophiles."
"The TC-P54V10 really excelled overall in visual contrast, consistently creating more “pop” to the image than our reference Pioneer Elite Pro-141FD monitor."
“The final colour reproduction, thanks to the THX mode, is absolutely excellent - but it could be better if we were given full control.... The image quality put out by a fully calibrated TX-P65V10 is stunning.”
"Some of Panasonic's lower-level TVs haven't blown me away with their colour tones this year, with green or orange undertones creeping into pictures. But, possibly thanks to the Digital Cinema Colour engine, the P58V10's colours during HD viewing are really terrific; natural, subtly blended, yet also vibrant in a way we don't often see with plasma technology."
"The single subjective shortcoming is the set’s fullscreen black level. True, the Panasonic is impressive in this area compared with most sets."

Gaming show formula
Refresh Rate is the most important characteristic for gaming.
Next we factor in the screen type. LCDs are the best because they have the highest resolution. Plasmas have lower resolution and are prone to "burn-in," and OLEDs have the lowest resolution.
Lastly we add our Picture Quality score to complete the picture.
